Unfortunately not being able to ride this climb last week because of roadworks... Apparently, theyre taking down some trees there. Road block (between 8 AM and 5 PM) will last the whole month of October (2008). Note the this is not the first time in the history of the Ballon dAlsace. Also in 2006, this side was blocked for the same reason, so it seems advisable to check it out upfront if you want to climb it in October. Not nice, cause a perfect tour in combination with the Servance.
