Climbing Alpe Zocca was much heavier than I thought it would be. Things were going well at first, with 8% max. But than, in kilometers five till nine, I had to climb 14, sometimes 15%. Not very long, but long enough to lose my cadence. I climbed Alpe Zocca on a hot day in august, with 34-28 as my smallest gear (and I really needed it...). By the way: the basic data of Alpe Zocca have a lot in common with those of Alpe d''Huez. A very big difference is that there are almost no cars or bikers on Alpe Zocca, so it''s perfect for training.
