The Passo dellAbetone in Toscany is a beautiful climb starting in La Lima. The first thing you notice is an azure-coloured reservoir on the left side of the road. After crossing some houses and little villages (like Cutigliano), the climb really starts at km 6, with moderate slopes of 6-8 %. The last 4 km are really smooth, with 2-4% slopes. You drive through the woods on a beautiful asphalted road leading to a ski resort/town, called Abetone. This ski resort is the summit of the pass, where you will find a big parking place on the right side of the road and a beautiful view through the valley.
