Description

I've climbed this col with an old bike. The beginning of the climb is nice, a lot of turns into a forest, but the end is breathtaking beautiful but very tiresome, you can see the finish now and it looks like it never comes any closer!! Very tricky indeed. Ive also climbed some others but this was definetely the hardest.

I rode up the day before the tour then watched the tour on the Sunday and rode up again on the Monday, This time with some friends also a lot of the pros were riding up the same time however a lot quicker and not puffing like me !! A very pretty ride especially later on near the top not as hard as some but testing enough to make you enjoy the challenge.

I gave it a four mostly because i did it on a mountain bike. There are lots of great downhill tracks in the portes du soleil and my dad and I thought we would have earned the downhill sections more if we had cycled up rather than taking the lift!
