This is my training climb as I reside in Sansepolcro and I feel obliged to say it is a great climb, it wont be the hardest you have done, but you climb at speed, great surface, wonderful views as you climb over monte Faggeta and Lago Montedoglio passing by Aboca , traffic free then on the top over Emilia-Romagna, the summit actually is at 1057m but they put the sign before the turn to Badia Tedala as you will be forced to descend to Santo Stefano[ there is another road only locals will know to do summit and still finish in Emilia.
My personal climb rating:

After 2kms with a convincing and doable 5% percent there is some hesitation for 3 to 4km with even a small descent - slightly annoying for the climber legs. Then two hickups of 8% after which the climb takes you during the last 8km at 6% slowly dropping to 5 and 4% which makes things easy to digest in the end.
It''s good to know that it''s generally fresher on the climb than in the valley of Sansepolcro where the warm wind blows you in the face like you were ventilated with a hairdryer.
The descent on either side of the climb is safe and enjoyable on a wide and curvy road. Descend on the other side beyond Badia Teldia and enjoy the scenery of the Emilia-Romagna province.
