Climb from Trento. Wide road with 38 hairpins. No traffic on monday morning but on the top was completely closed. Descent to Aldeno is narrow and in the forrest is full of blind corners.

Nice climb. The percentage indications on the road (there are signs every kilometer) do not seem to correspond to those indicated on this site. Percentages are more around 7-8 (8.2 at the end and between 7.4 to 8.4 for the greater part). It''s a beautiful ride, beautiful view and very quite, the road is very smooth, lots of hairpins which I liked. I would say that the challenge is more the length, it is still a 20+kms climb from trento without much of a break (only around kilometer 12 or 13 will you find a 5.6%, for perhaps 500meters). Enjoy beautiful Trento from the roof!

Nice ride with a lot of hairpins. Not extremely heavy due to constant increase of the road. Nevertheless the climb is more or less challenging due to the length. The descent to the other side in direction of Lasino is fast. 80 km or more is feasible. That''s also the reason that the climb from Lasino to the top is more boring. I also did this one and that was a once in a lifetime.

I write books upon cycling in the mountains and therefore I''ve climbed more than 300 ''cols'' and ''passo''s'' in Europe. The Monte Bondone is absolutely my favourite mountain to climb with a racing bike.

I come from Trento and I can say that the profile of the climb is not correct. At "bivio ss gardesana" there are an information plaque about the climb (17,8 km; 7,8% average grade). I''ve done two times this climb last year. The first time with my mountain bike, but i''m sure that it''s better do this climb with a racing bicycle, infact the second time I''ve done the climb with my new bike (pinarello fp1 2012), and it was better despite it was harder.

We rode the Bondone whilst staying in Trento prior to the GF Giordano. It's not a massively difficult climb (certainly no Mortirolo) but is beautiful for the great scenary you see on the way and the incredible view from the top. The descent down the other side is a good 'un as well. If you're in the area and like climbing a lot then it's well worth trying out.
